When looking at a lot of these "simple" monitors from kde-look.org, disliked mostly the unprecise, inqiet value displays and the oscillating values. What I want to see: if the box is idle, most of the bars are down (and stay there :-). When the box gets some load, most of the bars must rise. I rewrote most of the measuring, got rid of the graphs, and do low pass filtering for some values. The design is optimized for: small size , simplicity, values only !
